Sharing Photos on the Internet

Guest blog post from Candice Garth.

When it comes to sharing photos on the wild blue internet, I consider myself a freak of sorts. For me, this is the best part of my new satellite internet iowaconnection that I got from http://get.wildblue.com/. We all take it for granted now, but it wasn’t long ago when photo sharing over the Web was a new and exciting technological advancement. My favorite photo sharing sites used to be Google Photos and Flicker but Facebook is now my preferred photo sharing website on the internet.

Over the years, I have acquired large bundles of photos which I enjoy sharing almost daily with my friends. However, I don’t always want everyone on my ‘friends’ list to see all my photos. Therefore, I divide my photos on the basis of whom I want to share each particular picture with. I turn to the useful privacy settings feature on Facebook to accomplish this. This feature also allows me to edit, crop and change the look of my images.

It is my opinion that Facebook is the most useful and user friendly Internet avenue for sharing your pics with friends, colleagues, and family members. It is very well organized and allows for thousands of image uploads. My favorite photo sharing feature on Facebook is that it allows for viewers to post comments. This always makes for amusing and entertaining banter amongst friends and acquaintances
